Discovering Connections

lynneswrvi

Someone brought in a 1920's little leather library mini book by Olive Scheiner -feminist from the 1880s. I didn't realise she was the author of an 1800s novel on the bookshelf til I did a bit of research ---

Bingo! Her novel, Life on African Farm was already catalogued here! She was one of the leading suffragettes of her day, I learned-

and an advocate for women's rights back at the turn of the century. She did so much more-- stuff we in the current age- are just beginning to realise

Another discovery bit😀 birthdate- the 24th- is the SAME as mine!

Both books await your attention at the Vintique!
